Despite the qualification times for the Bedfordshire County Championships becoming more challanging this year, DSC still had a large number of swimmers reaching (and exceeding!) the qualification standard.

In an attempt to improve competative swimming in the county, Beds ASA decided to lower the qualification times for this year's County Championships. The qualification times are now closer to the ASA published "A Grade" standard, making qualification more challanging. Despite this,  a total of 31 swimmers have entered the counties this year in a total of 167 individual events. 15 male swimmers (84 individual events) and 16 female swimmers (83 individual events) will battle it out against the Counties top swimmers over 3 weekends:

23rd February (1500m Freestyle Only)

1st & 2nd March

15th & 16th March 

In addition to the individual events, we have also entered multiple teams in the relay's

All events are being swum at the Saxon Pool in Biggleswade.
