Pete Woodbridge has now left the club and has taken up the position of Head Coach at Luton Swimming Club. The Committee at DSC wish him every success in his new role and thank him for his positive contribution over the past 14 months.

This is a part-time paid role, ideally we are looking for a UKCC Level 3 qualified coach to take control of the coaching programme.

In the interim, Paul Drawbridge (UKCC L3 Senior Coach) has agreed to fulfill the role of Head Coach on a temporary basis. Paul and the coaching team are keen to ensure that swimmers have minimum disruption during the transition phase, so all sessions will remain in place and Paul will be responsible for overseeing the coaching programme.

Summer Training Schedule

As usual, the club will "shut down" for two weeks of the school summer holidays. This year we will close for the first two weeks:

The last training session will be Friday 17th July, returning on Monday 3rd August

Also, during the holidays, we will not be operating the early morning Monday and Friday training sessions, nor the Thursday evening session.

The full training programme will resume on Tuesday 1st September
