New Cross Club Squad Announced |
|
Dunstable and Luton Swimming clubs are pleased to announce the launch of the new Chiltern Swim Squad on starting on 1st June 2009.
This is a new squad formed between Dunstable and Luton swimming clubs with the main objective of improving the performance of swimmers in those clubs so that they achieve regional times next year with the aim of achieving national times in the future.
This is initially a trial which if successful will be expanded. Sixteen swimmers have been chosen (8 from each club in the 12 -14 year age range) based on their potential to meet the aims of the squad, including how close they are to existing regional times and their demonstration of effort and commitment to training sessions.
This new squad is by invite only.
Swimmers will continue to be member of their existing clubs and squad structure and will compete for them at all competitions.
Please speak to either Gary Smith or Gary Jesson at Luton and Pete Woodbridge or Paul Drawbridge at Dunstable for more information.
