First Place Finish in Round One of the Chiltern League.
Following on from the National League teams promotion success, a strong performance by the Chiltern League team saw a first place finish in round one of this years competition.
Swimming at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium on Saturday 31st January, team members Kristian Kingston, Francesca Thorn, Jay Wilson, Chris Fisk, Megan Reay, Amy Harris, Emma Yule, Michael Wickens, Ellie Doherty and Tim Marshall all won their events scoring maximum points for the team. The relay teams in the Mens Open 4 x 50 Medley, Girls 12+U 4 x 25 Medley, Girls 14+U 4 x 25 Medley, Girls 10+U 4 x 25 Free and Girls 14+U 4 x 25 Free also won their events.
From the 50 events in the programme, Dunstable finished third or better in 46 of them. Included in these were seven times that were inside the NFT’s so no points for those seven races but great swimming!!
