DSC – 2018 is shaping up to be another great year!

It’s been a very strong start to the year for DSC.  Our swimmers did themselves proud at the recent Beds County Championships with strong debut swims from our younger swimmers, a plethora of medals won across all age groups and numerous regional qualifying times achieved.  We have also made a strong start in this year’s Team Galas.
The Coaching Team and swimmers are training hard and having a lot of fun along the way as we continue our build up to the forthcoming 2018 Regional Championships, where we are confident even more success is to come.
We also have a number of our very popular Splash Nights confirmed in the 2018 calendar, these nights are great fun for the whole club and provide the opportunity for our younger swimmers to swim at their first gala, whilst also catering for all levels of swimmer across the club to achieve those new PBs!
Last year the Committee, together with our Coaching Team faced many challenges and in partnership with all our volunteers and members we collectively overcame many adversities.  The results we have seen so far in 2018 show that everyone in the club is working well together, that the plans we put it place last year are coming to fruition and that we should be very excited about what’s to come.
As you know the club is run by volunteers and we rely on the parents of our swimmers to step up and help us make the club the very best it can be for all involved.  If you feel that you can help us this year, please let us know as it will be great to have you on board.
We thank you all for your continuing loyalty to DSC and for sharing this journey with us.
